Cloud Backups

We will backup your website in full each month and will keep up to 12 backups stored safely in the cloud. We use DropBox and Google Drive Solutions for storage as well as Amazon S3. If you have any other preference please let us know. We are happy to oblige.

BackupBuddy Backups

Actual backups are done with the awesome BackupBuddy plugin for which we have a long term subscription. It is an amazing plugin that allows you to make fine grained file and database backups and offers great migration capabilities.

WordPress Updates

IMWZ updates your WordPress, plugins and theme(s) regularly. We update the WordPress CMS (often called core) as soon as an update comes out. We also of course update the plugins and often.

MainWP Updates

This we do after a check for incompatibility issues. IMWZ give priority to WordPress Security patches. These we implement almost instantaneously. This so your website will be as secure and up-to-date as it could ever be.

Security

Besides security through proactive updates and backups we implement diverse other features to keep your site safe. We make sure the standard WordPress security setup is made using configuration tweaks. We check all files and directories for proper permissions.

IMWZ also uses the excellent Wordfence Pro plugin for security. We use it for top of the bill security scans, firewall and vulnerability patching.

Wordfence

Wordfence is the best security plugin out there. Their firewall, brute force login protection, vulnerability scanner are truly amazing. Based upon regular security scans we decide what plugins we should update or remove. IMWZ also decides what security implementations we need and what additional Wordfence features or other security features should be activated based on logs.
