WordPress Security

I did a great presentation on WordPress Security March 2015 which is still very useful today. I created an html presentation on it. As it is not getting as much traffic as I would like to as it is a stand alone landing page I will link to it using this post.

This presentation was done at Vortex in Bahrain, which has been closed since. A gaming center I was allowed to do the workshop at as my friend Husain new the owner. The title of the presentation was “WordPress Security”. In the presentation I covered all necessary angles to deal with WordPress security. And although few people attended that day we had a great meetup.

Topics Covered

The presentation covered:

  • common attack vectors
  • causes
  • preventive measures
  • tools

Most of the tools I used at the time I still use today. Most attack vectors are still around too. If you would like to see it as a whole please click here.
